IPFW Transportation Services provides vehicles to faculty, staff, and students for use on official University travel billed to a departmental account. All drivers will need a current, valid U.S. driver's license in order to secure a vehicle from the fleet. Student drivers/Non employees will need to submit a Student Vehicle form and get the approval from the Comptroller's office (ext. 6324 or 6322).
For your convenience, the Transportation Services office hours during the Fall and Spring Academic semesters are 7 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Summer office hours are the same, except that the Fleet office closes at 4 p.m. on Fridays. The garage is open 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The garage is closed on Saturday, Sunday and University Holidays.
Note: When leaving a personal vehicle during a University trip, please park your vehicle in place of the University vehicle you are driving.
To use IPFW Transportation Services vehicles you need to fill out the Vehicle Request form . Along with the vehicle request form, two other forms may be required if either the driver is a student, or the vehicle being requested is a passenger van.
